What I Have Been Up To...Wrestling, Football and More!

I know it's been a few years since I have posted but since then I wanted to share what I have been up to.  I am now 13 and will be 14 September 30.  I also play football and wrestle.  Since the last post I had not started wrestling yet.  My first year wrestling was my 7th grade year, I am now in 9th grade.  My first year wrestling ever I came in 2nd place at the Randolph County Conference.  My second year wrestling with South Asheboro Middle School, 8th grade, I went undefeated and then went on to win 1st place at the Randolph County Conference.  I also placed at several AAU tournaments through those 2 years and yes I did loose some of those.  Now I am in my first year of High School and wrestling season is coming up.  I can't wait to see what I do this year.  Here are some video clips of my wrestling matches.

Long Time No Baseball!

Well, since baseball season is up I have been getting into the football spirit.  Right now we have been practicing football 2 hours a night 2 to 3 nights a week.  First scrimage game is Saturday at Eastern Randolph High School.  I am playing for the Eagles this year. I believe I will playing quarterback, we'll see.  I will post some pic's as soon as I get them.

Tri County Tournament Update

After being on the ballfield for 9 hours today, we ended up playing the final championship game against Eastern Randolph.  We lost 16 to 0.  Not a happy ending, but the experience was priceless.  There were mainly travel teams entered in the tournament but we came from being picked as Asheboro's finest all stars this year.  Never playing before together as a team and only a few practices, I think we did pretty good to finish second out of 8 or 9 teams around the triad.  I did however bat 14/15 and pitched 3 games and had a 2/1 record.  Be looking out for me, I'll let you know where I plan to play next.

Asheboro All Stars Mustang Team Plays the Triad All Star Tournament 2011

Well, this morning started the beginning of a two day tournament at Coggins Field.  It was hot, stcky, humid and ended with a severe thunderstorm warning.  We played Franklinville this morning at 11am ,unfortunately we lost 3 to 2.  We played again at 3pm this afternoon against Ramsuer, thank goodness we won with a score of 5 to 6.  We have to go back tomorrow at 1pm.  I will let you know how that turns out for our Asheboro All Star baseball team.
